Lately, I’ve noticed my dryer isn’t performing as well as it used to. Clothes come out damp, and I have to run multiple cycles. I’ve cleaned the lint trap, but that doesn’t seem to help much. Could the vent be the issue? What else can I do to improve its efficiency?

That sounds frustrating! I usually just clean the lint trap, but I wonder if that’s enough.

You’re on the right track by cleaning the lint trap, but that alone isn’t always enough. A clogged vent can prevent proper airflow, making your dryer work harder and take longer to dry clothes. Over time, lint builds up in the vent, reducing efficiency and even increasing fire risks. One of the best ways to restore your dryer’s performance is by scheduling dryer vent cleaning https://comfortclean.com/dryer-vent-cleaning/ . This process removes built-up lint, allowing air to flow freely. In addition, make sure your dryer is positioned correctly, avoid overloading it, and occasionally check the outside vent for blockages. Proper maintenance can extend the life of your dryer and reduce energy costs.
