I feel like a lot of young professionals have these high expectations that they'll be welcomed with open arms right after graduation. But in reality, experienced specialists are valued more. At least that’s my experience. I had to work at small companies in not-so-great positions, gradually gaining experience to get to where I like working now.

Classic situation. I didn’t have big expectations for my first job; I didn’t care whether I landed in a cool company or just a regular job. The main goal was to earn money.

Well, not everyone’s like you. Some people really value themselves, their knowledge, skills, and time, and they aim to find a good job with a good salary. Finding a regular job that suits everyone is pretty simple. So, there’s no shortage of jobs right now. But I think it’s always important to aim for more right from the start.
