Hey everyone!

Whenever I start a new Pokémon game, I always struggle with choosing my team. Sometimes I try to go with my favorites, other times I want to use completely new Pokémon I’ve never trained before. But then I end up second-guessing my choices—should I focus on type coverage, stats, or just pick based on design?

How do you decide on your team when you start a new playthrough? Do you plan everything ahead, or just catch whatever feels right in the moment? Also, do you try to balance your team competitively, or do you just go with what seems fun?

Curious to hear your strategies!

Personally, I like to mix things up depending on my goal for the playthrough. Sometimes I plan ahead and go for a well-balanced Chill Guy Clicker team with good type coverage, but other times I just catch whatever I feel like and see where it takes me.
