Question for 3DS emulation

Hey! A few months back I purchased the RG35XX for GBA Pokémon games and I cannot recommend it enough!!

I am now in the market for a new system and really want to play some 3DS games (particularly a rom hack of gen 4) and wonder which device would be best for this? I don’t want to spend more money than necessary but I am in the market! Thanks in advance :)

The Nintendo 3DS and 2DS XL are the official devices for playing 3DS games. They can run 3DS games as well as DS games, including Pokémon rom hacks. The 2DS XL is a more affordable option compared to the 3DS.
